Auxiliary Files for Economic Censuses CD-ROM Volume 1

These files present text labels for various codes used in the data files,
from record type to kind of business to geographic areas.  Some of the files
also present other useful codes or statistics, such as a flag indicating which
MSAs changed 1982-1987, and population and per capita income estimates for
states, counties and places.

These files are normally accessed as labels added while using other data files,
but they can also be used directly.

   On the FILE SELECTION MENU  -  Select one type of file.

   On the MAIN MENU you may

1  Select ITEMS       select text labels, codes or statistics to display
2  Select RECORDS     select which specific values to display
3  Add LABELS         -- not applicable --
4  Select an INDEX    resequence records where more than one code is present
5  Format options     select a columnar report or rowwise listing

6  Display to Screen
7  Print              send output to printer (use option 5 to configure)
8  EXTRACT DATA       create an extract file in any of 3 formats
