1987 Enterprise Statistics:  Company Summary                          ES87..

Most of these files present national statistics about the 3.9 million companies
covered by the 1987 Economic Censuses, with the number of establishments,
employment, payroll, and receipts classified by industry (EIC) and by company
size, legal form of organization, and concentration.  File ES8711 gives limited
data for States.
  File ES8701 gives an overview of virtually the entire business universe of
15 million companies, including FIRE and other sectors not in the 1987 census,
and including nonemployers.

1  Select ITEMS      select specific statistics to display out of each record,
                        e.g., number of companies, employment, receipts
2  Select RECORDS    select which tables, industries, size classes
                        to display
3  Add LABELS        add titles for industries, size classes, etc.
