1987 Surveys of Minority-Owned and Women-Owned Businesses:  ALL FIRMS

These files present summary data for ALL FIRMS, as published in tables 10-14 of
the Minority-Owned Businesses Reports.  The surveys include:  Individual
Proprietorships, Partnerships, and Subchapter S Corporations (each owner files
a business tax return).  Data included employers and nonemployers.  The tables
in the printed reports are combined into five data files, as follows:

MB87AL01:  Table 10, US by SIC by Year
MB87AL02:  Table 11, US by ST by Year
MB87AL05:  Table 12, Form of Organization; Table 13, Receipts Size; and
             Table 14, Employment Size
 (Data for minority- and women-owned businesses are grouped in separate files)

   On the MAIN MENU you may -

1  Select ITEMS       select specific statistics to display out of each record
2  Select RECORDS     select which kinds of business and/or area to display
3  Add LABELS         add kind-of-bus. descriptions or area names to display

6  Display to Screen
7  Print              send output to printer (use option 5 to configure)
8  EXTRACT DATA       create an extract file in any of 3 formats
