1987 Census of Manufactures:  Location of Manufacturing Plants     MC87L...

These files present the number of establishments by employment-size class by
2- or 4-digit Standard Industrial Classification by geographic area.  Each file
has data for the United States (State code=00, county code=000) and States
(county code=000).  MC87LMCO and MC87L2CO include counties, MC87LMPL and
MC87L2PL includes places.  MC87LMCO and MC87LMPL contain summaries for 4-digit
SICs; MC87L2CO and MC87L2PL show manufactures totals and 2-digit summaries.
All industries are shown within each geographic area, with no minimum employ-
ment requirement.

   On the FILE SELECTION MENU  -  Select county or place data, 2- or 4-digit SIC

   On the MAIN MENU you may

1  Select ITEMS       select specific statistics to display out of each record,
                        e.g., size classes
2  Select RECORDS     select which SICs and/or areas to display
3  Add LABELS         add SIC titles or area names to display
