1987 Census of Retail Trade:  Nonemployer Statistics Series, File 3     RC87N3

These files present the number of establishments and sales for retail
establishments with no paid employees, for 10 kinds of business, for the
state (RECTYPE=02), all counties (RECTYPE=06) and all incorporated places with
2,500 or more inhabitants (RECTYPE=07).  Data correspond to Table 4 in the
printed Nonemployer reports, and may be added to the statistics for establish-
ments with paid employees in the RC87A3 files to summarize all establishments.
Places crossing county boundaries have records for each part-within-county.

   On the FILE SELECTION MENU  -  Select one state or a nationwide file.

   On the MAIN MENU you may

2  Select RECORDS     select which counties, places or record types to display
3  Add LABELS         add state, MSA, or untruncated county or place names
4  Select an INDEX    --not needed for this file--
5  Format options     select a columnar report or rowwise listing

6  Display to Screen
7  Print              send output to printer (use option 5 to configure)
8  EXTRACT DATA       create an extract file in any of 3 formats
