1987 Census of Retail Trade:  Selected Statistics                    RC87SS

 This series of files integrates statistics previously published for
establishments with and without payroll to yield totals for all retailing.
Data are presented in a manner to facilitate comparisons among areas, and to
show geographic areas by rank within kind-of-business.

 The first file compares nonemployer, employer, and all-establishments
statistics by kind of business nationally.  The third file shows both all
establishments and employers for states and MSAs.  The 2nd file is limited to
nonemployers, the 4th to nonemployers.

   On the FILE SELECTION MENU  -  Select the one file.

   On the MAIN MENU you may

1  Select ITEMS       select specific statistics to display out of each record
2  Select RECORDS     select the areas and/or kinds of business to display
3  Add LABELS         add kind-of-bus. or size class descriptions to display
