1987 Census of Service Industries:  Nonemployer Statistics, File 2   SC87N2XS

This file presents the number of establishments and sales for taxable service
establishments with no paid employees, by kind of business, for the U.S.
(RECTYPE=01), all states (RECTYPE=02) and metropolitan areas (RECTYPE=04)
nationwide.  Data correspond to Table 2 and 3 and parts of Table 1 in the
printed Nonemployer reports, and may be added to the statistics for establish-
ments with paid employees in the SC87A1 files to summarize all establishments,
after allowing for certain differences in kind-of-business coding (see SVC87KB).

   On the FILE SELECTION MENU  -  Select this file.

   On the MAIN MENU you may

1  Select ITEMS       select specific statistics to display out of each record
2  Select RECORDS     select which kinds of business and/or area to display
3  Add LABELS         add kind-of-bus. descriptions or area names to display
4  Select an INDEX    resequence records by kind of business (advanced option)
5  Format options     select a columnar report or rowwise listing

6  Display to Screen
7  Print              send output to printer (use option 5 to configure)
8  EXTRACT DATA       create an extract file in any of 3 formats
