1992 Characteristics of Business Owners                                CBO92

  Ownership characteristics are shown for businesses in the "SMOBE universe",
including individual proprietorships, partnerships, and Subchapter S
corporations, but not regular "C" corporations.  Data include both employers
and nonemployers.  Data for each of the following groups appear in each file:
  All firms in the SMOBE/WOB universe
  Hispanic-owned businesses
  Black-owned businesseses
  Other minority-owned businesses (including Asians and Pacific Islanders, 
    American Indians and Alaska Natives)
  Women-owned businesses
  Nonminority male-owned businesses
Some overlap occurs in some groups, therefore they do not add to the
"all firms" data shown separately.
