Nonemployer Statistics

Nonemployer Statistics provide data for establishments without
payroll (i.e., no paid employees) along with data for
establishments with payroll and for all establishments by kind of
business for the United States, States, and Metropolitan areas.

All other tabulations from the Census of Financial, Insurance, and
Real Estate Industries, including all Geographic Area Series data,
do not include nonemployers.

Nonemployer Real Estate establishments accounted for more than 80
percent of all Real Estate establishments and more than 35 percent
of all Real Estate revenue.  While nonemployer Depository
Institutions establishments accounted for less than 1 percent of
all Depository Institutions establishments and less than 1 percent
of all Depository Institutions revenue.

These data are provided on a separate CD-ROM (1992 Economic Census
CD-ROM Volume 4, Nonemployer Statistics) sent to all subscribers to
