Many persons participated in the various activities of the 1992 Census of
Manufactures. The overall planning and review of the census operations were
performed by the Economic Census Staff of the Economic Planning and
Coordination Division. Office of the Assistant Director for Economic and
Agriculture Censuses.

This report was prepared under the general direction of Judy Dodds,
Assistant Chief of Manufacturing and Construction Division.  Stephen H.
Andrews, Assistant Division Chief of Economic Indicator Programs, was
responsible for the overall planning, management, and coordination of this
report. Planning and implementation were under the direction of Gloria J.
Cable, Supervisory Survey Statistician. Mary E. Green, Sandra J. Sollinger,
and Lisa M. Feldman, with the assistance of Clarence Gillis and Diane
Schapira, were responsible for the primary data analysis, systems and
procedures for mailout, receipt, correspondence, data input, and quality
control, along with the associated electronic computer programs and
preparation of this report.
