    Abstract:
      This wall map shows New England City and Town Areas
      (NETCAs), Combined NECTAs, metropolitan NECTA
      divisions, and their components in New England.  The
      printed map measures 36 by 46 inches.  The boundaries
      and titles depicted on this map reflect the
      definitions described by the Office of Management and
      Budget (OMB) in December, 2006.  NECTAs are defined for
      the following states: Connecticut, Rhode Island,
      Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. The
      area definitions are based on the result of the 
      application of the 2000 Standards for Defining
      Metropolitan and Micropolitan Statistical Areas to
      Census Bureau population estimates for 2004 and 2005.
    Purpose:
      This map shows the location of New England City and
      Town Areas (NETCAs), Combined NECTAs, metropolitan
      NECTA divisions, and their components in six New
      England states.
