AES: Electronic filing of the Shipper's Export Declaration

AES is the central point through which the export shipment data required by multiple government agencies is filed electronically with U.S. Customs using the efficiencies of the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). AES alleviates the difficulties that impede the exporting process such as inaccurate information, filling out paper forms and duplicate reporting requirements.
