AES responses will be turned off at noon Friday (9/19/03) and
will be turned back on at noon Saturday (9/20/03). The trade
community is encouraged to continue filing shipments as usual
during this period.  Incoming shipments will be queued and
responses will be generated starting around noon Saturday.
AES expects to have all backlog responses generated by late
Saturday evening.

This situation qualifies as an official AES Downtime.  Please
use your XTN (Filer ID number and shipment reference number)
as a part of your AES exemption statement/proof of filing
during this AES downtime.

appreciate your cooperation.
