UPDATES TO AESTIR APPENDIX U FOR USED SELF-PROPELLED VEHICLES

Beginning June 1, 2010, Appendix U of the AESTIR will be updated for HTS/Schedule B classifications of used self-propelled vehicles. When reporting the Electronic Export Information (EEI) in the AES, the update will include additional HTS/Schedule B classifications that will require or allow all of the following:

- Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) or Product Identification Number (PIN)

- Vehicle ID Qualifier

- Vehicle Title Number

- Vehicle Title State Code

The updated list will be provided in Appendix U of the AESTIR and will be available at http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/trade/automated/aes /tech_docs/aestir/june04_intro/appendices/
