New Verify Message Being Added to the AES July 28, 2010, Response Code: 856 Improbable ISO

On July 28, 2010, The Automated Export System (AES) mainframe will generate a Verify Message for all filers who submit a shipment containing one of the following International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Country Codes:

Reason: The ISO reported may or may not be valid for the country of destination.

Resolution: Verify the ISO code entered is the correct ISO code for the country of destination. Consult Appendix C of the Automated Export System Trade Interface Requirements (AESTIR) to determine the appropriate ISO code using the link below. Please copy and paste the link below in its entirety to your web browser.
