Scheduled AESDirect Communications Maintenance

This message is intended for AESDirect program users only.  If you are
not an AESDirect program filer, you will not be affected by this
maintenance.

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection will be moving the communications
circuits that AESDirect uses to send and receive data to and from the
AES to a new datacenter.  Due to the nature of the work, AESDirect will
be affected on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 from 5:00pm EDT - 5:30pm EDT. 

During this 30 minute maintenance period the AES Downtime Policy
will not be enacted.  The AESDirect web site will remain on-line and
filers may continue filing as normal.  EEI created during this
communications maintenance will be queued and sent to AES once the
circuits are brought back up.  You may, however, experience a delay
in receiving responses for EEI submitted during the maintenance. 

We strongly encourage you to file your shipments prior to this
maintenance period when possible.
