Clicking on an address
Often, web sites will link an e-mail address so your e-mail program
will automatically open, address the message and let you write a message
to be sent to that address. However, this all depends on your web browser
being set up correctly.
For example, the word "FTDWebMaster"
is linked to our e-mail address [email protected]. If you click
on "FTDWebMaster"
and your e-mail program opens, you're all set. No problems.
However, if you are not set up correctly, your browser's reaction will
vary based on the circumstances.
- In some situations, a launch program will start and ask you to configure
the MAIL software. Ask your I.T. people to set this for you if you
don't know the correct way to do it..
- In other situations (particularly Netscape), you'll get a message
that reads "Your e-mail address has not been specified. Before
sending mail or news messages, you must specify a return address in
Mail and News Preferences" (or something similar).

If you don't know how to set this, consult your I.T. people.
Solution
If you can not get your browser set up to open your e-mail program
and address a message, do it yourself.
- We try to display the relevant e-mail addresses next to these links,
so you can either select and copy the address within the browser or
just write it down.
- Open your e-mail program. Copy that address into the TO: field and
finish the rest of the message as you would any other e-mail message.
