ABI/ACE Parameter Change Request:

For filers that frequently receive import warning messages, you may submit a Parameter Change Request to the Census Bureau ftd.parameters@census.gov.

Parameter Change Requests should only be submitted for repeated warning messages. Please do not request change for “one-time” or special shipments.

In order to submit your request, your company must use the ABI/ACE Parameter Change Request Form.

The Parameter Change Request requires the following information:

  • Entry Number(s) of shipments receiving warning messages
    • with the same HTSUSA Number
    • that generated the same warning message

Once your request is received, the Commodity Analysis Branch will investigate your request, make a ruling, and respond directly to the submitting party.  If you have any questions, please email ftd.parameters@census.gov.
